V M S. Vehcile Memory System

The Vehicle Memory System (VMS) is a "black box" data logger using low cost GPS sensor technology specifically designed to record movement. In response to "events" and at predetermined "times", the VMS automatically stores geographical position (Lat/Lon) and other status information in memory, which can later be retrieved for comprehensive analysis. VMS functions totally autonomously without operator intervention and can interface directly to most modern "transparent" communications devices for real time access. The ability to permanently store 45000 NMEA RMC and GGA message sets, makes the VMS ideal for general transport movement and compliance reporting applications. Full management and automatic download utility software is also provided.

Stored data can be analysed using the "Pegasus" mapping software providfing information such as Route Taken, Odometer, Operationg hours, Fatigue management, Speeing reports and electronic log book to name a few.
